It has been proposed to arrange the clothes on hangers hung inside a cover, the assembly forming a garment rack. Such an assembly must generally be complicated by another piece of luggage to contain objects and other clothing that the garment holder cannot contain, even when the latter has pockets.

It has also been proposed to provide, in rigid suitcases in particular, a compartment provided with hangers for accommodating the clothes there. Such a solution can only be envisaged with fairly large baggage, a large part of the volume of which is occupied by clothing.

The present invention aims to provide a simple, economical and efficient storage space for clothes, in particular costumes, allowing rational folding of these clothes regardless of the baggage in which they will then be accommodated, while occupying a minimum volume and allowing immediate use upon arrival.

For this purpose, the device according to the invention is characterized by the fact that it is constituted by a firm frame on one side of which a support for a clothes hanger is mounted to the ego.

The device according to the invention makes it possible, after hanging a jacket on the hanger, to fold the corresponding pants around the frame and then to fold the bottom of the jacket over the frame, in order to form a pancake-shaped ensile which can then be easily inserted into a suitcase or travel bag while occupying a minimum volume, the garment thus folded being well protected from wrinkling and creases.

 Advantageously, the support is sliding and / or pivoting relative to the frame. Preferably, the hanger is removably mounted on the support. Advantageously, the hanger then carries, in known manner, a pivoting hook allowing it to be hung on a wardrobe rod.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the device can also comprise a flexible cover, for example made of fabric, for the protection and the maintenance of folded clothes on the frame.

The device according to the invention consists of a relatively rigid frame 1 on which are mounted, in the example described, two supports 2 which slide on the frame 1 and can pivot relative to it.

In the embodiment of the invention shown by way of example, each support 2 is formed by a plate 3 provided at one end with a through hole on the frame 1 and which projecting a rail 5.

A hanger 6 is burnished on its upper end 7 with two claws 8 projecting outwards and turned towards one another. The claws 8 have a spacing slightly greater than the width of the rail 5 on which they slide after passing through a narrowing 9 of the rail. the hanger 2 includes a pivoting hook 10 for hanging on a wardrobe rod.

This hook 10 can be in one piece with the claws 8.

The use of the device according to the invention will now be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 6, in connection with the use of a single bend 6 fixed to a support 2 which has been made to slide in the middle of a large side A of the frame 1. The use of two hangers 6, each hooked to a support is similar, the supports 2 with their hanger 6 being arranged symmetrically on the long side A as shown in FIG. 1.

The jacket 11 of a suit is placed on the hanger 6 and the sleeves are folded down as shown in FIG. 2. the hanger 6 is then fixed to the support 2 by sliding on the rail 4, the support 2 being disposed at I'e , inside of the frame 1.
