Abstract

A card, e.g. a greetings card, has its front face equipped with a series of folded flaps (A,B,C) which can be raised from the surface of the card to form a three-dimensional picture. The folded flaps can be in a variety of shapes, e.g. triangular, losenge-shaped or irregular, according to the design which is to be applied to the card. Each flap has one portion which is stuck down to the face of the card and a second portion which is hinged to the first to allow it to be raised from the card or pressed flat.
