Sur les enceintes acoustiques actuelles, divers systèmes existent actuellement pour augmenter la qualité et la puissance des sons graves. Parmi ces systèmes, on peut citer
A) la mise en parallèle de deux haut-parleurs de graves dans le même coffret : sur la face avant, ces deux haut-parleurs poussent l'air en même temps sur les impulsions de basses (voir la figure 1)
B) un système équipé de deux haut-parleurs disposés l'un derrière l'autre sur la face avant : le hautparleur arrière pousse la masse d'air contenue derrière le haut-parleur de façade, aidant celui-ci dans son déplacement (voir la figure 2)
