La présente invention concerne un nouveau type de capuchon pour aiguilles médicales destiné à limiter le risque de piqûre de l'utilisateur.CAP FOR MEDICAL NEEDLES ï

The present invention relates to a new type of cap for medical needles intended to limit the risk of puncture of the user.
Il n'existait jusqutà ce jour que des capuchons simples qui lors du replacement de ceux ci sur l'aiguille exposaient l'utilisateur au risque de piqure du fait, essentiellement, de la proximité de l'orifice dans lequel s'engage l'aiguille avec les doigts qui tiennent le capuchon ; ou des capuchons & engagement latéral de l'aiguille mais protégeant mal l'extrémité de celle ci, et assurant mal l'isolement de l'aiguille des souillures extérieures avant l'utilisation
Selon une forme de réalisation préférentielle le modèle de capuchon proposé comporte
- une partie distale (1), courte, destinée au logement C l'extrémité de l'aiguille ( fig 1.2.3.5.11)
Elle comporte à cet effet un canal central (la) allant en s'évasant vers le bas, formant ainsi une sorte d'entonnoir (lb) qui guidera l'aiguille vers le canal central (la)
- une partie proximale (2), longue, destinée au logement du fût de l'aiguille ( fig 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.11)
Elle comporte, sur toute sa longueur une fente (2a) conduisant
- en haut vers un canal central (2b) pour le fût de l'aiguille ( fig 2.6.9.10)
- en bas vers un logement (2c) plus large pour la garde de l'aiguille. A ce niveau la fente est élargie suffisamment pour permettre le passage de la garde ( fig 2)
Ce pertuis peut être avantageusement prolongé vers l'extérieur par un infundibulum (2d) en forme de pince ( fig 1.2.4) qui favorise le passage de la garde et renforce son maintien dans le logement (2c).Until now, there were only simple caps which, when replacing these on the needle, exposed the user to the risk of stinging, essentially because of the proximity of the orifice into which the needle engages with the fingers that hold the cap; or caps & lateral engagement of the needle but poorly protecting the end of the latter, and poorly insulating the needle from external stains before use
According to a preferred embodiment, the proposed cap model comprises
- a distal part (1), short, intended for housing C the end of the needle (fig 1.2.3.5.11)
It has for this purpose a central channel (la) flaring downward, thus forming a sort of funnel (lb) which will guide the needle towards the central channel (la)
- a long proximal part (2), intended to house the barrel of the needle (fig 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.11)
It has, over its entire length, a slot (2a) leading
- at the top towards a central channel (2b) for the barrel of the needle (fig 2.6.9.10)
- at the bottom towards a wider housing (2c) for keeping the needle. At this level the slot is widened enough to allow the guard to pass (fig 2)
This gap can advantageously be extended outwards by an infundibulum (2d) in the form of a clamp (fig 1.2.4) which promotes the passage of the guard and reinforces its retention in the housing (2c).

La partie proximale du segment (2) est munie d'un aileron (2g)sur le bord opposé à la fente (2a) en regard du logement (2c)
L' ensemble aileron et infundibulum forme un système
de préhension clipsable pour enclaver ou désenclaver l'aiguille par sa garde ( fig 1.2.4.7.8
Les parties (1) et (2) sont articulées par une patte (3) (fig 3) sise sur le bord opposé à la fente (2a) et peuvent éventuellement être unies l'une à l'autre par un petit clip (lc) (fig 3 et 11) se libérant facilement

La figure 3 représente l'articulation (3) entre les segments (1) et (2) et le clip (lc)
La figure 4 représente la coupe selon (AB) de la partie proximale du segment (2) montrant l'aileron (2g), le logement (2c) et l'infundibulum (2d)
La figure 5 représente la coupe sagittale du segment (1) montrant le canal central (la) et l'entonnoir (lb)
La figure 6 représente en coupe le fût du capuchon avec la pellicule(2h) faisant pont entreles deux berges
Les figures 7 et 8 représentent en coupe la variante de l'aileron formant une pince dont la pression détermine l'ouverture de la fente (2a)
La figure 9 montre un modèle de valve à une lèvre
La figure 10 montre un modèle de valve à deux lèvres
La figure 11 montre une coupe frontale de l'extrémité du capuchon passant par le clip (lc)
Pour sortir l'aiguille, l'aileron (2g) maintenu entre pouce et index, est déporté latéralement, ce qui dégage en premier la garde puis le fAt de l'aiguille en rompant la pellicule (2h).La pointe, toujours engagée dans le canal central (la) du segment (1) permet à celui ci de se désolidariser du segment (2) grace à l'articulation (3)
La pointe de l'aiguille est alors retirée, laissant le segment (1) bailler légèrement sur le segment (2)
Pour remettre l'aiguille

To take out the needle, the fin (2g) held between thumb and index finger, is offset laterally, which first releases the guard then the needle side by breaking the film (2h). The tip, still engaged in the central channel (la) of the segment (1) allows the latter to separate from the segment (2) thanks to the articulation (3)
The point of the needle is then withdrawn, leaving the segment (1) to yawn slightly on the segment (2)
To replace the needle
The cap is held between thumb and index finger by the fin (2g).
