Description

[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to a device for removing a hook swallowed by a fish from a fish caught during fishing.

As shown in FIG. 1, a conventional fishing hook remover is often used in which a guide hole 32 having a narrow opening 31 on both sides is provided at the tip of a rod 33.

To use this device, first pass the fishing line 34 through the guide hole 32 as shown in Figure 1, fix the fish 35 with your left hand, tension the fishing line 34 with your right hand, and hook the tip of the rod 33 onto the fishhook 36. As shown in FIG. 2, the fishhook 36 is engaged with the guide hole 32, and the fishhook 36 is removed together with the rod 33.

However, in this removal operation, the fishing line 34 in the guide hole 32 tends to come off outward from the opening 31 during the insertion process of the rod 33, and normally the fishing line 34 is removed from the guide hole 2 once for every two insertions. A phenomenon occurs where the fishhook comes off, and it takes time to remove the fishhook.

Furthermore, since this removal work is done by hand, it is impossible to visually detect if the fishing line has come off the guide hole 32 inside the fish body, and in some cases, the fishing line may have to be stirred around inside the fish body with the stick 33 with the fishing line detached. Not only is this inefficient, but it can also damage the fish.

In addition to the above, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 47-32984 and Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 52-148786, two plate pieces are overlapped in a scissor shape, and an opening is formed facing each plate piece. There is a type in which a cutout is provided, the scissor-like body is closed, and both cutouts overlap to form a needle hole.

However, when these devices are inserted into the fish body, pieces of meat bite into the gap between the tips of the disk pieces, requiring a large amount of force for insertion and damaging the fish body.Furthermore, when the fishing line is taken into the needle hole, the fishing line may be damaged. It is easy to cut with the scissors, and the fishing line inside the needle hole can easily enter between the two plate pieces through the opening.
It could not be put to practical use because it would fall out of the needle hole or break.

This invention solves the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and aims to provide a fishhook remover that can remove the fishhook quickly and reliably without causing the fishing line to come off the guide hole.

A first embodiment of this invention will be explained below with reference to FIG. 3 and FIG. 6.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 designates a fishhook remover, which is constructed by integrally fixing the proximal end 3a of an end plate 3 to the tip of a rod body 2, and overlapping the end plate 4 onto this end plate 3 and pivotally fixing it with a pin 5.

The end plate 3 has a substantially oblong guide hole 6 bored at a position near the tip, and an opening 7 communicating with the guide hole 6 is provided by cutting out the side of the end plate. The other portions are thick-walled portions 9 and thin-walled portions 9.

Reference numeral 10 denotes a groove formed in the upper surface of the thin wall portion 9, which is curved in an arc shape centered on the hole 11 for passing the pin 5 through.

The end plate 4 is composed of a thick part 12 corresponding to the opening 7 of the end plate 3 and a thin part 13 corresponding to the thin part 9. When overlapped with the end plate 3, the thick part 12 fits into the opening 7. The end plates 3 and 4 and the rod body 2 have rounded tips and corners.
It has the shape of a book rod, and the bifurcated portion 14 of the end plate 4 is configured to form a part of the inner peripheral edge of the guide hole 6.

Reference numeral 15 denotes a stopper which is planted in a protruding manner on the lower surface side of the end plate 4, and its tip engages with the groove 10.

In order to pass the fishing line connected to the fishhook swallowed by a fish through the guide hole 6 in the fishhook remover 1 having the above structure, hold the rod main body 2 with one hand and press the proximal end of the end plate 4 as shown in the sixth figure. When the operating piece 17 formed on the 4& side is rotated in the direction of the arrow Y with a finger, the end plate 4 is rotated until the stopper pin 15 engages with the end of the groove 10, and the forked portion 14 opens outward.

Therefore, insert the middle part of the fishing line into this bifurcated part 14, and insert the end plate 4.
When the end plate 4 is rotated with a finger in the direction opposite to the arrow Y, the end plate 4 is rotated until its base end 4a comes into contact with the end surface 16 of the rod body 2, and the guide hole 6 is opened as shown in FIG. It will be in a closed state.

In the above embodiment, the end plate 4 has its intermediate portion pivoted to the end plate 3, and is provided with the operation piece portion 17 extending to the opposite side of the bifurcated portion 140. In the above embodiment, the rotation angle of the end plate 4 is limited by the stopper pin 15 and the groove 10, and by the engagement between the base end 4a of the end plate 4 and the end plate 16 of the rod body 2. FIG. 8 shows a third embodiment of this invention, and shows an example in which the thick part forming range of the tip 8 of the end plate 4 is widened, and accordingly, the bifurcated part 14 of the end plate 4 is also lengthened on the left and right sides. Although the configuration is different, the same effects as in the first embodiment can be obtained.

In each of the above embodiments, the end plate 3 is integrally fixed to the rod body 2, but in the fifth and sixth embodiments shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the end plate 4 in the above embodiment is integrally fixed to the rod body 2. Instead, the end plate 3 is rotated to open and close the guide hole 6, and the same effects as in the first embodiment can be obtained.

In addition, the above description has been made of the case where this invention is applied to a simple rod-shaped fishhook remover, but as shown in FIG. -48141, a winding bundle 20 for winding a fishing line, a ratchet wheel 21 for preventing the winding bundle from reversing, and a detent 22 that engages with this ratchet wheel.

Furthermore, since the guide hole in the closed state is surrounded by the thick wall portion 12, the tip end portion 3, and the overlapping thin wall portions 9 and 13 having the same thickness, the fishing line cannot enter between the overlapping portions of the end plates. Since the fishing line is securely held within the closed guide hole during the fishhook removal operation, the fishhook can be removed quickly and reliably.
