Abstract

Process for treating crude natural carnallite ore containing various impurities, especially NaCl, to produce an enriched carnallite, characterised in that: a) carnallite is prepared in the granular form; b) flotation of granular carnallite is carried out to produce a floating fraction and an underflow fraction, and c) the floating fraction is separated from the underflow fraction.
