Description

Deux types de seringues à usage médical sont actuellement disponibles : les unes réutilisables, c'est-à-dire fabriquées en matériaux permettant lavage et stérilisation, les autres à usage dit "unique" non restérilisables disponibles vides ou renfermant un produit injectable (par exemple vaccin). Les seringues à usage dit "unique" restent cependant fonctionnelles après emploi et peuvent donc être réutilisées sans stérilisation si l'utilisateur ne suit pas les recommandations du fabriquant, d'où un risque important d'infections. Le dispositif selon l'invention comporte des modifications du corps de la seringue et de la tête du piston. Le corps de la seringue à la face interne comporte une où plusieurs lamelles rigides préformées, de telle façon que lorsque leur extrémité proximale ( même orientation que le corps de la seringue) est libre, elle fasse saillie dans la lumière de la seringue; l'extrémité distale ou base est fixe, insérée dans la paroi du corps de la seringue. Les lamelles, pour ne pas gêner le progression du piston dans le sens de la vidange, ne doivent pas modifier le calibre interne du corps de la seringue et au mieux seront encastrées dans ses parois. La distance séparant l'extrémité proximale du corps de la seringue doit être supérieure à l'épaisseur de la têtetete du piston.Il existe ainsi avant fonctionnement un espace libre au-delà duquel la progression de la tête du piston libère les lamelles. En cas de seringue présentée vide, un dispositif annexe de blocage, aisé à retirer, bloque le piston avant fonctionnement prévenant une mobilisation involontaire qui libèrerait les lamelles rendant la seringue d'emblée inutilisable. Il s'agit par exemple d'une pièce en forme de "U" dont les branches s'appliquent contre l'extrémité distale du piston et contre l'extrémité proximale du corps de la seringue. Lors de l'emploi d'une seringue vide, l'utilisateur retire les dispositifs de blocage, aspire le liquide à injecter, purge l'air nécessairement contenu dans la seringue, pratique l'injection en poussant le piston. Lors de son parcours, la tête du piston écarte les lamelles, dépasse leur extrémité, libérant les lamelles, empêchant tout retour en arrière.
