Abstract

This packaging is of the type in which the individual containers or pots 1, 21 are connected with one another by a grid 2, 22 which covers them and cooperates with a rim 3, 28 arranged at the periphery of each pot and of its lid. The portion of grid separating two adjacent pots is formed partly by two telescopic transverse elements 8a, 9 comprising means of locking 14, 16 one with respect to the other, and each opening 7 of the grid serving as a housing for one pot has dimensions allowing the free fitting of the grid over the pots when the two telescopic elements 8a, 9 laterally closing each opening 7 only partially penetrate into one another, whereas when these elements penetrate into one another up to locking, the grid 2, 22 clamps the pots and immobilises them.

Claims

1. Packaging for products presented in grouped packages, of the type in which the individual containers or pots (1,21) are linked together by a grid (2,22) which covers them and cooperates with a bead arranged at the periphery of each pot and its lid, characterized in that the grid portion separating two adjacent pots is partly formed by two telescopic transverse elements (8a, 9) comprising locking means (14,16), one with respect to the other, and each opening (7) of the grid serving as housing for a pot has dimensions allowing the free introduction of the grid on the pots when the two telescopic elements (8a, 9) closing laterally each opening (7) interpenetrate only partially, whereas when these elements interpenetrate until locking the grid (2,22) encloses the pots by immobilizing them.

7. Packaging according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that its grid (2) is molded with a shape corresponding substantially to that of the upper part of the pots (1).

8. Packaging according to any one of claims I to 6, characterized in that its grid (22) has a generally rectangular shape and has zones of reduced thickness 23 located on either side of the transverse parts (8a, 8b ) to serve as hinges for shaping the grid (22) in the form of pots (21).

9. Packaging according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that each transverse part (8a) and the finger (9) extending each transverse part (8b) are originally connected end to end by a zone of low resistance ( 10).
