Abstract

The subject of the invention relates to a self-positioning prefabricated projection unit device for displaying photographs or documents in slide form. It consists of the combination first of a slide projector 1 hinged on to its support 2, and orientable, next of a magnifying objective formed by a double mirror 5, 6, and finally of a vertical screen 7 which folds under the lid. It also has the object of providing, in all places and under all background lighting conditions, the magnified projection of slide photographs for any use, in a light-weight packaging.

Description

 The object of the invention relates to a prefabricated self-positioning projection block device for viewing photos or documents in slides.

 Its purpose is to ensure in all places and in all surrounding light the enlarged projection of slide photos for all uses, in a reduced presentation packaging.

 The suitcases used to date did not allow viewing of slides with sufficient magnification for the perception of details while retaining sufficient brightness for their perception by a more or less large number of spectators, the more the weight of these cases made their painful transport, and the assembly of the devices in the transport capacity could only be done by specialists.

 The device according to the invention eliminates these drawbacks and allows the user, by simply opening the cover, to position the projector, the enlarging reflective mirrors and to present a visible vertical screen without reflections, under the greatest angle of observation, of plus the simplification of assembly, the lightness of the equipment and the lowering of the cost price give this set a maximum of useful effects with ventilation eliminating the heating of the sectors subjected to light radiation.

 I1 is constituted by the combination first of a slide projector articulated on its support and orientable, then by an enlargement lens formed by a double mirror, and finally by a vertical screen folding under the cover.

 It is made up, figure 1, by the combination of a slide projector 1 articulated on its support 2 and placed in functional position by a connecting rod assembly 3 actuated by 1 cuver ture of the cover 4 of the suitcase 17 containing the ensen.ble .

 The magnifying reflecting mirrors 5, 6 are fixed to the cover 4 so as to project the entire image onto the vertical screen 7 articulated by the hinge 8 on its support o.

 The space 10 is completely cleared, which ensures accelerated cooling of the heating caused by the intensity of the projector.

 This projection assembly can be prefabricated as a "block" in Figure 2.

 For this purpose, on the block is mounted the projector 1 on its base 11 with the joint 2 and the connecting rod assembly 12 ensuring its lifting at the desired angle when the cover 4 is raised to 9o.

 The screen 7 is foldable and is raised in the opposite direction to the cover 2 by the hinge 8 fixed on its support 9.

 The reflecting mirrors 5, 6 are mounted with their fixing supports 13, 14 on articulated frames 12 which, when deployed, ensure their functional positioning according to FIG. 1.

 This frame once the mirrors in place is foldable and unusable for subsequent frames their positioning being fixed relative to the projector 15. This block or this assembly is placed in a suitcase 17.

 The deployment, fig-4, ~ places the vertical screen 7 immobilizable for its total vision, while the enlarged image 1â is visible both in broad daylight and in a dark room.

 The lightness of the assembly allows remote control by hand and from a distance or such other addition, but the minimum weight with the possibility of increased projection is obtained by this combination of means and their functional positioning; as, moreover, their cost price.

 This projection device mounted on a suitcase or delivered as a unit could be attached to any suitcase having the size of the screen being important. Slide viewing applications in the educational, advertising, scientific, recreational and other fields.

 However, the shapes, dimensions; ons and arrangements of the different elements may vary within the limit of equivalents, as indeed the trays used for their manufacture without changing for this, the general design of the invention that has just been described.
