Abstract

The invention relates to an improved racquet, particularly for a game using a hard ball. According to the invention, the racquet is produced from high-performance plywood and consists of a circular head (stringing) 11 and of a concave handle 14 reinforced on both its faces. The handle is terminated, at its end, in a bulge 15 and is covered with a non-slip and anti-perspiration contact band 17. Description

 The present invention relates to an improvement in rackets intended for the practice of ball games, in particular that of games with tennis ball.

 All of the known models approaching this type of racket make it possible to play mainly with foam or rubber balls, but prolonged use with a tennis ball generally causes a breakage of the racket at the level of the sieve-handle junction. , or the handle itself.

 Furthermore, the two sides of the racket are generally identical. The wooden or plastic handles are of uniform model, without differentiation in size or weight.

 To allow a safer grip and greater hand comfort, the handle is finished at its base with a bulge. It is covered with grip or self-amalgamating rubber in order to avoid slipping phenomena and the disadvantages of perspiration.

 The racket has variants both in terms of the diameter of the sieve and that of the handle and thus responds to use by adult men and women and by children.

 The balance between the volume and the weight of the racket is thus better suited to pre-sports or sports games.

 The sieve is covered with a layer of lacquer allowing ball effects, and has in its center a visual mark serving as a target and thus allowing to learn how to better center the ball.

 To promote the concept of multi-play, one side of the screen can be covered with a non-slip type coating such as spiked elastomer.
