Abstract

Device allowing preservation of the operation of a thermocouple. The invention relates to a device for protecting the conductors of a thermocouple. It consists, according to Figure 2: - either of a metal tube 1 of length appropriate to the use, crimped onto the conductors 2 and 3; - or of a covering 1 of length appropriate to the use, obtained by moulding or coating ceramic or synthetic material onto the said conductors subsequently enveloped in an insulator 4. A conventional sheath is shrunk over the assembly in order to protect it.
