Abstract

The invention relates to a device allowing vehicles to get out of sand. It is made up of two front cylinders 1, 1', of two rear cylinders 7, 7', and of two tarpaulins 2, 2'. The back cylinders are moved by an electric motor 4. The tarpaulins are fastened to the cylinders 1, 1' fitted with "Velcro" 6, 6' via straps 3, themselves fitted with "Velcro". The device is fixed to the chassis of the vehicle via metal lugs 5. The tarpaulins are unwound by the motricity of the wheels of the vehicle, the winding-up of the two tarpaulins 2, 2' being provided by electrical rotation of the two rear cylinders 7, 7'. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for getting out vehicles which have become immobilised in sand, snow, or mud.
