Abstract

Large hyperbaric installation which can accommodate 60 people at the same time, for the purpose of allowing fatigue recovery action or physical activity 3 times as strenuous as in normal atmosphere, under normal pressure. In this installation: 1) The air taken from the outside is treated in a first unit, in order therein to have all chemical and bacterial impurities removed. It leaves with 0 humidity. 2) The dry and decontaminated air is compressed, and stored under a pressure of 8 bar. 3) A heat exchanger adjusts the temperature as a function of the requirement: sport or fatigue recovery. 4) The 4th unit has the action of expanding the compressed air under a highly controlled pressure as a function of the mixture required. The mixture is enriched with several gases, including oxygen, and the humidity is a function of the breathable mixtures, themselves determined by the function of the compartments which takes into account the activity of the sportsman, the age and the training time. 5) The breathable mixture thus dosed is introduced at different pressures into large hyperbaric halls which can withstand pressures from 0.5 bar to 5 bar.

Description

CHAMBRE HYPERBAR POUR ACTIVITE SPORTIVE ET ENSEMBLE DE DEFATItGATION. HYPERBAR CHAMBER FOR SPORTS ACTIVITY AND DEFAULT KIT.

The object of this invention aims to inject a breathable mixture different from city air, under hyperbaric pressure in a high capacity concrete steel block capable of withstanding pressures of the order of 5.

atmosphéresmaximun, et de recevoir 35 personnes à chaque séance.maximum atmosphere, and receive 35 people at each session.

LES LIMITES DE L'ACTIVITE SPORTIVE.THE LIMITS OF SPORTS ACTIVITY.

This activity, whether voluntary or imposed by the medical profession, finds its limits due to: 1) physiological factors specific to each individual.

2) du temps qu'il peut sacrifier à une activité.2) the time he can sacrifice for an activity.

a) physical activity depends on age, health status, especially level
heart lungs, clean defatigtabiiity.

casse.
b) physical activity must have 2 hours a day to be effective
broken.

c) if in normal breathing an individual needs 7 liters of air per minute, in
activity it consumes 100 liters Mn. Due to the composition of the air
of cities, the faster an individual breathes the more he pollutes himself. The brother
quence of lung cancers, like chronic bronchitis, shows a
direct relationship with respiratory mechanics and its speed as a function of
physical activity.

PRINCIPE DE FONCTIONNEMENT D'UNE CHAMBRE HYPERBAR.PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION OF A HYPERBAR CHAMBER.

1) the air captured outside is chemically and mechanically treated to
between completely cleared of all chemical impurities and tank
teriological it contains.

IT is treated for hygrometry 0 3) It is compressed and stored at 8 bars.

4) the heat exchanger to give air between 18
and 20 o 5) The purpose of this unit is to relax the reconstituted area enriched in oxygen
and in carbon dioxide for certain cases, with an adjustable humidity
depending on the pressures allowed.

6) The hyperbar room with a revolutionary design in its structures
is also the subject of a patent filing - comes in the form of a
waterproof box capable of withstanding 5 bars per Cm2. A computer rules
allowable pressures and calculate the nature of the breathable mixtures, the hy-
grometry and temperature according to categories of person and
activity: sport or fatigue.

DONNEES ACTUELLES SUR-LE FONCTIONNEMENT D'ENSEMBLE HYPER BAR. CURRENT DATA ON HYPER BAR ASSEMBLY OPERATION.

The increase in atmospheric pressure without oxygen supply shows: 1) The phenomenon of gas diffusion is tripled.

rapidement.
3) Under 3 bars the production of lactic acid linked to an activity
physical is 2 times less important. It is eliminated 2 times more
quickly.

double.
4) In Hyperbaria and at the same time, sports activity is
double.

5) Perfect adequacy of this environment to rehabilitation problems
victims of infartus.
