Abstract

The invention relates to a device allowing progressive obstruction of a natural channel such as an artery, in particular in a predetermined zone. It is characterised by: - at least one means 7 for anchoring in the walls 21 of the channel 2 at the predetermined zone 3, - at least one means 8 for forming at least one aggregate 9 such as a clot, from fluid, in particular blood, passing through the device, - at least one means 10 for retaining the aggregate 9 formed by the aforementioned means 8, arranged in order to produce such an effect.

L'invention se rapporte à un dispositif permettant de provoquer de manière progressive l'obstruction d'un canal naturel tel une artère notamment dans une zone prédéterminée. The invention relates to a device making it possible to gradually cause the obstruction of a natural canal such as an artery, in particular in a predetermined area.

Plus particulièrement mais non limitativement, l'invention intéresse un dispositif permettant d'obtenir l'obstruction progressive par thrombose d'un canal traversant une lésion vasculaire telle un anévrisme notamment un anévrisme fusiforme. More particularly but not limited to, the invention relates to a device making it possible to obtain progressive obstruction by thrombosis of a channel crossing a vascular lesion such as an aneurysm, in particular a spindle aneurysm.
