Abstract
The invention relates to a rotary timing device of the type described in document FR-86 13525. This device is characterised in that it comprises means 370 for making the finger 324 of a Maltese cross 322 work giving discontinuous rotation to a timing element. An improvement in the operation of the engine is thus obtained by setting the advance or retard to opening or to closing as a function of the rotational speed of the engine.
