Abstract

The invention relates to a binocular method for drawing and observing. This method consists of two separate but mutually dependent techniques: a. Drawing two drawings of the same object or from two different angles, on the same board; b. Observing an imaginary point located at a defined distance between the observer and the drawing. This method is intended for the wallpaper industry, the tiling industry, the stained-glass-window industry, the fencing-netting industry, the monumental art industry, and the optical industry in general: for the synthetic image of television, photography and cinema. The essential purpose of this invention is to dispense with optical equipment such as: two-colour spectacles, stereoscope, hologram laser or the rippling (corrugating) of the support media. In order to see the drawings or synthetic images in 3-D.

DESCRIPTION PROCEDURE FOR DRAWING AND UDIR IN RELIEF
The present invention relates to a method for drawing and seeing in relief.

The images traditionally drawn represent a monocular vision in perspective, giving only an imperfect idea of the effect of depth.

Striage, etc...).
Hologram type images require the use of techniques and materials external to the drawing (Stereoscope, Lasers, Two-color glasses,
Streaking, etc ...).

The process for creating and seeing objects drawn in relief is characterized in that it consists in drawing the image seen by the left eye of an observer in cavalier perspective shifted to the right of an axis of symmetry and the image seen by the right eye in cavalier perspective shifted to the left of the same axis and in that it consists in observing an imaginary point or space located between the observer and the drawing making it possible to obtain the coincidence of the two drawings seen by the left eye and by the right eye this one gives a third image in relief.

According to a first variant to the description of the above process, the relief drawing can be observed in a concave manner if it was convex, and vice versa. The reversal of the direction of the relief vision is characterized by the fact of drawing on the left of the axis of symmetry (and not on the right) the view observed by the left eye (1) and on the right the view observed by l 'right eye (2).

According to a second variant to the description of the above process, 1 in ~ ~ version of the sense of vision in relief without modifying the drawing, is characterized in that it consists in wearing a divergent look from the left eye (1 ) on A and the right eye (2) on According to Figure 9 (and no longer a convergent look at P).

According to a preferred embodiment, by observing the space cut out in the blackout cover according to my FIG. 10, the observer sees a cubic parallelepede constituted by the osmosis of the two drawings of FIG. 7.

According to a variant of the above method, the drawings in FIG. 7 can be replaced by filmed projections, static or in motion, observed on the screen formed by the opening of the blackout cover according to FIG. 10.

j) Presentation of the drawings
Figure 1: represents a parallelepiped ABCDEFG with
diagonals with vertices crossing at a point 0, observed by the left eye 1 Figure 2:: represents the object seen from the left, the letter N being the level of the eyes of the observer.

Figure 3: shows the parallelepiped in elevation seen by 1.

FIG. 4: represents the parallelepiped observed by the right eye 2.

Figure S: represents the parallelepiped seen from the left.

Figure 6: shows the parallelepiped in elevation observed by 2.

Figure 7: shows the two drawings on the same framed background.

ia~flqufe~e : montre la technique et le geste éventuel à accompli plir pour observer le point imaginaire P. ia ~ flqufe ~ e: shows the technique and the possible gesture to be performed to fold to observe the imaginary point P.

Figure 9:: allows you to experiment the technique by being approximately 80 cm away and making the possible gesture of Figure B in relation to the points
A and B in bold. Points A and B are random, the process adapts to all opaque or transparent supports.

FIG. 10: represents two drawings according to FIG. 7 which are visualized in relief through a blackout cover made up of a sheet of paper pierced in its center with a square opening and situated on a plane between the drawing and the observer in such a way that the vision of the left eye corresponds to the drawing on the right and that the vision of the right eye corresponds to the drawing on the left.
