Abstract

TECHNICAL METHOD FOR MULTI-COLOR DIRECT PRINTS IN ONE SINGLE PASS
BY CONJUGATED METHODS.

 The present invention relates to a direct printing method making it possible, from the conventional method used in screen printing and from an additional device, to reproduce either imitations of natural veined products or to create multicolored abstract patterns in a single use of a unique, original and non-repetitive deposit of pigmented products with non-homogeneous shades, applicable on all surfaces, all materials (natural or synthetic), of all forms printable in screen printing.

 Attached are samples for models, these were made as being the most representative of the effects rendered. These samples are not limiting as much on the support used as on the shape, the nuances or the results obtained.

 We know screen printing with its multiple applications.

 Artistic or industrial methods are known which make it possible to achieve these same effects, but these methods do not make it possible to achieve them on finished raw materials, by a single deposit of multicolored colors effected in a single operation.

 Indeed, the artistic methods or the method by serigraphy make it possible to carry out them with the liking of the creator by successive contributions of colors juxtaposed or superimposed.

 Industrial methods make it possible to achieve these effects in indirect, identical, repetitive ways.

 The device according to the invention makes it possible to remedy these drawbacks -nients, in fact, the method is direct, the impressions will not be identical with respect to each other thus giving each element of a single medium its own identity , unique and non-repetitive, by a deposit made in a single pass, we will get the following results: mottling, veining, onyx, multicolored shade diffusions with unlimited aspects of the final result both on the choice of colors and on the choice of decorations and this, on all printable supports in screen printing, that is to say presented in sheets or flat panels or in shape in three-dimensional volumes, that is to say: objects. These prints can be produced on all materials (natural or synthetic), whether finished or not. This method can also be used in food, subject to the use of authorized colored food products, for example: cake decorating.

 We obtain the effects of marbled, veined or onyx by stretching the colored products inside the screen using a pad and or a balyette and or a brush; the effects of abstract designs by color diffusions in the case of colored products stamped and or projected inside the screen. The two effects can be cumulated using the different ways of proceeding mentioned above. a single passage then forms a non-homogeneous mixture of different shades and shades with a predominance of the color chosen for the so-called "background" shade.

 For an artistic, artisanal and industrial exploitation, the products and materials are the following: * A traditional screen-printing screen, flat or shaped frame, metallic, wood or other, stretched with a canvas of natural, synthetic or metal fibers.

* A squeegee commonly used in screen printing.

* A pad made of natural or synthetic origins (fabrics, sponges, foams), and or a brush and or a brush with hard, semi-hard or silky bristles, of natural or synthetic origins, and or a jet nozzle expelled by air or pressure. The results of the effects obtained vary according to the choice of one or the other of these methods.

* Products, natural or colored syntheses, miscible or not, such as inks, paints, pastes, lacquers, metallic powders or not in suspension in a liquid.

 The method consists in: a) Coat the pad and / or the brush and / or the brush with a colored product of different shades.

b) To pass this coating by dabbing or spreading and or by jets on the canvas, inside the screen, on all its surface or on a limited surface.

 c) Then put, inside this same screen1 on one side, a certain quantity of another colored product of a single shade, the latter of -being to mark more or less the predominant choice of the so-called "background" shade. Then bring this quantity of product to the opposite side, with or without coating, using the squeegee according to the conventional method used in screen printing. The whole is deposited in a single pass on the chosen support placed before the start of inking operations under the screen. For automatic adaptation, the basic principle remains the same, only the materials used will be adapted and mounted on a screen-printing machine, the monumental gestures being robotized.
