Abstract

The invention relates to a device which is articulated to the end of a bicycle crank produced to receive it, it supports a pedal at its end; a spring holds it in the top position for as long as no force is applied to the pedal, as soon as a force is applied, it pivots on its articulation pin and is placed at the end of the crank, thus creating a longer lever. In reascending, when the bearing force on the pedal ceases, the spring acts on the device and returns it to the top position, thus limiting the circumferential travel of the pedal.
