Abstract

System of fittings adapted to high-pressure bottles containing a medical gas. The invention consists of a "high/low pressure" gas transfer line intended exclusively for bio-medical applications. An assembly in accordance with A.F.N.O.R. bio-medical standards which are to be applied in October 1987 is substituted for the fittings fixed on to current bottles. This involves fitting a non-return valve 2 allowing the volume to be only filled with gas. Furthermore, the user can operate a valve 8 which dispenses at its output only a gas pressure of 3 bar. A flow meter operating by means of a solenoid valve controlled by a punched card can be fitted to this output.
