Abstract

L'appareil comporte un enfumoir 1 et un lève-cadres 2. L'enfumoir 1 comprend un foyer 5 surmontant une boîte 3 à cendrier 4 et une soufflante 8 active le foyer 5 à travers la boîte 3. Une conduite souple 6 achemine la fumée du foyer 5 vers une buse 7 assujettie au lève-cadres 2. Le lève-cadres 2 porte un dispositif de commande de la soufflante 8. L'enfumoir 1 est monté sur une claie de portage à laquelle peut être accroché le lève-cadres 2. L'appareil permet à l'apiculteur de travailler sur les ruches en ayant toujours une main libre, alors que pour les opérations habituelles, la présence de deux personnes est généralement nécessaire.
