Abstract

The subject of the invention is an accumulator of pressurised fluid intended preferably for the braking circuits of motor vehicles, provided with an anti-locking device. The accumulator comprises a storage chamber receiving the pressurised fluid as well as a chamber containing pressurised gas, which is separated from the first one and acts on the latter via a membrane. In order to prolong the life of the accumulator, a device is provided which enables the pressure to be substantially lowered whenever the device is not operating.
