Abstract

Construction of a filter element with integrated magnetic field. It consists of the combination of, on the one hand, metered quantities of infusorial earth, of moistened kieselguhr and, on the other hand, of a polarised infusorial powder, these agents being milled, granulated, degassed and moulded with high compression (approximately 300 kg/cm<2>) and then subjected to drying (approximately 4 hours). It is intended to increase the filtering power of filter candles for domestic and industrial use with the addition of a magnetic screen.
