Abstract

The present invention relates to the science of heat and its subject is more precisely a method for recovering heat from vapours released over a surface of evaporation such as a drier surface, as well as a device for the implementation of the said method. According to the method of the invention, the vapours 8 are separated over the said surface 7 into two topically distinct fractions, a so-called "peripheral" fraction 2 which is richer in incondensibles and colder, and a so-called "central" fraction 1 which is richer in water and hotter and only the central fraction 1 is subjected to some heat recovering method. A device of the invention comprises an external hood 2 and an internal hood 1 contained at least partially in the previous one, a space being created between the walls of the hoods, the said space communicating with a so-called outlet conduit 6, the internal hood connecting with a so-called recovery conduit 4. Applications to all processes resulting in the release of vapours in the industrial and farm-produce sectors.
