Abstract

Device for centring and aligning tubes and promoting a hinge effect for complete folding of these tubes, the assembly being held by an elastic tensioner fixed to each of their ends. It consists of a part 1 which is forcibly fitted into a tube, and of a frustoconical part 2 which fits freely and perfectly centres the other tube which abuts against the collar 3. The inside of this centring device is made up of an eccentric hole which allows the passage of an elastic tensioner which, greatly stretched, is attached to the two ends of the tubes and securely fastens them, and of a slot allowing the passage of the flexible tensioner and facilitating the hinge effect when the tubes are completely bent.
