Abstract

The invention relates to the use of hydraulic jacks which are modified and used in an inverted position. The jack is fixed by its base 14 to an upper sole plate 5 welded to 2 slides 6 moving between uprights 2 welded to a lower sole plate 1. Two movable spindles 3 determine the height chosen. The pumping arm 9 is clipped to a slide 6. The modification relates to the insertion of a well tube 30 in the bearing base 14, and the reboring of the rod 20 for the passage of the spring 29 and of the end piece 28. A circular seal 38 inserted in the end piece 28 ensures sealing. The rotation of the discharge valve 32 allows the rod 20 to reascend by means of a traction spring 29. The invention is especially intended for small-scale mechanical work or laboratory presses.
