Abstract

The subject of the invention is a device intended to stop the circulation of thrombi in vessels, of the type comprising elastic branches disposed regularly around a central axis and at least the end of some of which is fitted with hooks directed outwards for anchoring in the wall of the vessel; this device being characterised in that it comprises, on either side of a central connection body 1, and disposed regularly around a central axis 2, on the one hand, several elastic branches 3, 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d each consisting of a curved strand, substantially parallel to the central axis at the central body, and progressively separating from this axis beyond it, at least three of these regularly distributed branches 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d being fitted at their end with a hook 5 directed outwards, and on the other hand, at least three elastic branches 6 each consisting of a curved strand, substantially parallel to the central axis at this axis and progressively separating from this axis beyond it, and whose end 7 is curved back inwards.
