Abstract

The invention relates to instruments of the "parallelometer" type associated with an instrument which can be used in dental practice, allowing examination of teeth which are incorrectly positioned to a greater or lesser extent, without having to check the general parallelism on the jaw in question each time. It comprises a belt with a rail and a forehead support 1-2, a vertical tube with a cap and a base 3 sliding in the tube 2 and butting against 6 a solid horizontal tube 4, a manoeuvrable arm for supporting the cradle 5, a guide and stationary stop 6. Amongst the most important applications of the invention, mention may be made of the precision afforded by the integral structure and the manoeuvrability which allows preparation on any tooth without constraints inside the mouth.

Claims (3)

1 - Parallelizer associated with an instrument usable in  practical dentistry, characterized in that it includes  a belt (1) and a support (2) parallel to the  closed jaws, the support (2) being provided with a tube  vertical guide receiving the sliding vertical tube (3)  vertically and sideways rotating with bottom cn,  guide and stop (6), a solid horizontal rod (4)  can go up and down following sliding of the tube (3)  and being able to move forward and backward according to the base of the tube (3),  a support arm (5) of the cradle which can be operated with the  rod (4) and can be oriented and locked high and  low, relative to the horizontal or plane of the jaws. 2 - Parallelizer according to claim 1, characterized in  what the bottom guide (6) of the vertical tube (3) is equipped  an external metal rod locked by preesion  spring for parallelism and stop, and a free  vertical and lateral operation, a connecting frame  and adjustable locking at base (8). 3 - Parallelized according to claim i, characterized in  what parallelism with jaws and teeth  to strip is possible continuously, and even  adjustable in all cases where the intervention of  milling and skinning of teeth is required.
