Abstract

1. A warhead comprising a forward shaped charge (2) and a rear shaped charge (3), tandem mounted and detonating sequentially, intended for attacking active armored targets, the forward charge (2) including a liner generated by revolution (5), the caliber of the forward charge (2) being smaller than that of the rear charge (3), characterized in that the caliber of the forward charge (2) is included between 25 and 70 % of the caliber of the rear charge (3), the liner generated by revolution (5) having a height-to-caliber ratio varying from 0.15 to 1.5, an average thickness included between 1 and 5 % of its caliber and a weight per unit of volume ranging from 500 to 4000 kg/m**3, thus creating a jet with a kinetic energy less than 200/kilojoules.
