Abstract

The shoe sole has an air bed effect formed by an area where a series of beads are played one above the other with each bead slightly off-set relative to the next one anddefining recesses inside. The beads pref. extend from the centre section of the sole to be slightly compressed towards the rear end section so that they cause an increase in the sole at the back. The sole is formed from an outer zone forming the wear-resistant layer (1) which is harder than the rest. An inner zone (2) is made of e.g. three beads (3a, 3b, 3c).

Description

 The present invention relates to a new shoe, the sole of which includes improvements aimed at improving walking comfort.

 The applicant has already described in her French patent NO 78/11789 a springboard-effect sole which is characterized by a raised heel presenting on its song a spherical perishing throat starting in the middle part of the sole to gradually deepen until to a maximum at the heel quarry.

 Although this shape is satisfactory, it still has some drawbacks: in addition to the aesthetic appearance, which may be questionable in the eyes of some users, cleaning this groove is relatively difficult. In addition, the elasticity zone remains relatively localized towards the periphery of the heel.

 The present invention eliminates these latter drawbacks thanks to a sole in which the "springboard" zone is formed by the entire heel, which consists of a superimposition of flanges slightly offset one with respect to the next, and internally delimiting recesses .

 The invention will be better understood by referring to the following description, corresponding to the appended drawing, the single figure of which represents in perspective a shoe fitted with a sole according to the invention.

 As can be seen in this figure, the sole which equips the shoe consists of an outer zone forming wear layer 1, harder than the rest of the sole, as is moreover known in this field, and d an interior zone 2 having the characteristics of the invention.

 This inner zone consists, in the case shown, of three flanges, 3a, 3b, 3c, which have the particularity of being slightly offset from one another, so as to facilitate flexing of the sole. In addition, the rear part of the flanges is a little thinner than the lateral parts, so that the sole rises slightly backwards.

 This concerns the external appearance presented by the flanges constituting this sole, with regard to the internal zone, the flanges internally have recesses, having practically the same profile, so that the whole sole consists of superimposed elements. , somewhat comparable to the constitution of a -lampion; whose deformation will be done in the manner of successive turns of a spring, which allows to assess its efficiency.

 Of course, such a sole can be applied both to a rising shoe as shown, and to a low shoe, whatever the material.

 Such a construction of flange soles does not present the difficulties of cleaning a deep groove, and moreover its aesthetic appearance is for some eyes more elegant than that of the already known groove.

 The set of characteristics of such a sole therefore enables it to be distinguished in a remarkable manner from the sole described in the applicant's prior patent.
