Abstract

The invention relates to an insert designed to be installed with the aid of an ultrasound device. The insert is characterised in that it comprises two sets of teeth, one helical 13 and the other circular 14 axially spaced on the external surface by a groove 15 and arranged in such a fashion that the tear resistance and rotation resistance are maximum and that the residual stresses after installation are minimal. The insert makes it possible to obtain internal and external threads and axes.
