La présente invention se rapporte à une vanne-papillon à double étanchéité plus spécialement destinée à obturer une conduite hydraulique telle qu'une conduite équipant une installation hydroélectrique.DOUBLE SEALED BUTTERFLY VALVE
The present invention relates to a double-sealing butterfly valve more specifically intended for closing a hydraulic pipe such as a pipe fitted to a hydroelectric installation.
Une vanne-papillon est une vanne dont l'organe d'obturation est un disque, appelé "lentille", qui peut tourner, pour ouvrir ou fermer la conduite, autour d'un axe orthogonal à celui de la conduite. Ces vannes-papillon sont largement utilisées dans les conduites alimentant les installations hydroélectriques. Elles sont de plus en plus souvent munies d'une double étanchéité, c'est-à-dire d'une part d'un joint de service assurant l'é tanchéité à la fermeture, et d'autre part d'un joint de garde, placé légèrement en amont du joint de service, et qui ne travaille que lorsque l'on désire remplacer ledit joint de service, afin d'éviter d'avoir pour cette opération à vidanger préalablement toute la conduite.
