L'élaboration de la technique de l'assemblage à épaulement permet le raccordement de deux matières indépendantes, de natures comparables ou différentes. Cette opération a pour finalité de rendre solidaires deux éléments séparés -voir PL 2/2 Fig.2-. The development of the shoulder assembly technique allows the connection of two independent materials, of comparable or different natures. The purpose of this operation is to make two separate elements integral - see PL 2/2 Fig.2-.
L'invention est basée sur la technique déjà en vigueur qui consiste au perçement d'un trou cylindrique, appelé plus communément mortaise au moyen d'un forêt ou d'une mêche -voir PL 1/2 Fig.l coupe suivant BB-. Toutefois, l'originalité de l'invention repose sur la création d'une fonction supplémentaire qui est celle de la technique de l'épaulement encastré par le fer de coupe à encastrement, laquelle réalise la mortaise à épaulement encastré -voir PL 1/2 Fig.2 en 1 et 2-.However, the originality of the invention rests on the creation of an additional function which is that of the technique of the shoulder embedded by the built-in cutting iron, which realizes the mortise with embedded shoulder - see PL 1/2 Fig. 2 in 1 and 2-.
Le système ainsi élaboré comprend deux parties distinctes et la réalisation de l'assemblage s'effectue en deux temps
a) une première phase active qui permet la réalisation de la mortaise à épaulement encastré -voir PL 1/2 coupe suivant CC-,
b) une deuxième phase active qui permet l'assemblage de deux matières indépendantes -voir PL 2/2 Fig.2 en
A) L'OUTIL ou "mâche à épaulement encastré
Après avoir réglé la profondeur de coupe par la bague poussoir -voir PL 1/2 Fig.2 en 3- à l'aide de la règle graduée -voir PL 1/2 Fig.2 en 4- d'une part, et par pression exercée de l'outil sur la pièce à usiner (au moyen d'un villebrequin ou d'une perçeuse) -voir PL 1/2
Fig.l en 5- d'autre part, on opère en un premier temps au façonnage de la mortaise -voir PL 1/2 Fig.l coupe suivant BB-. Le fer de coupe à encastrement est en position "fermé" -voir PL 1/2 Fig.l en 6-.La première partie de la mortaise est ainsi réalisée -voir PL 1/2 coupe suivant
BB-. En un deuxième temps, en continuité de ce qui précède, à la rencontre de la bague poussoir sur la face externe de l'élément en cours d'usinage -voir PL 1/2 Fig.l en 7s'exerce une poussée de la bague vers l'arrière de l'outil -voir PL 1/2 en 8- qui met en oeuvre le dispositif mécanique incorporé, lequel provoque la sortie du fer de coupe à encastrement -voir PL 1/2 coupe suivant AA en 9-. En maintenant la pression exercée décrite ci-dessus, on obtient le façonnage d'une mortaise borgne à épaulement encastré (ou saignée encastrée) en une seule opération -voir PL 1/2 Fig. 2 en 1, 2 et 10 coupe suivant CC-.The system thus developed comprises two separate parts and the assembly is carried out in two stages

In a second step, in continuity with the above, to meet the push ring on the external face of the element being machined - see PL 1/2 Fig.l in 7 exerts a push of the ring towards the rear of the tool - see PL 1/2 at 8 - which implements the incorporated mechanical device, which causes the release of the built-in cutting iron - see PL 1/2 cut along AA at 9 -. By maintaining the pressure exerted described above, one obtains the shaping of a blind mortise with embedded shoulder (or embedded bleeding) in a single operation - see PL 1/2 Fig. 2 in 1, 2 and 10 cut according to CC-.

En un deuxième temps et en continuité de ce qui précède, on opère à la mise en placedéfi- nitive de la pièce d'assemblage par une poussée en sens longitudinal en fond de mortaise -voir PL 2/2 Fig.l en 2 coupes A et B-. La pression exercée sur la tête de la pièce d'assemblage met en mouvement le mécanisme incorporé et enclanche le système de verrouillage.
