Abstract

Car radio and amplifier anti-theft device for all types which can be fitted to all models of private or commercial cars, solidly fixing the said car radio and amplifier to the bodywork. The anti-theft device comprises a flat metal part 1 matching the shape of the metal casing of the car radio 2 slightly smaller so as to be able to be locked with a mating bolt 4 and nut 5, or a hole on the bolt after the nut and immobilised by a small padlock fixed by a cable 3 rod or solid braid at one of these ends, and at the other end to the metal sheet of the bodywork with the bolt 6 and nut 7.

The present invention relates to a mechanical anti-theft device for a radio station, and on all radio stations and on all types of passenger and commercial motor vehicles.

 To date, there is no anti-theft radio, it is however an almost daily theft which obliges motorists to provide a sliding drawer system to allow them to make them removable.

 The object of the present invention is to overcome these drawbacks, theft and manipulation, by presenting an anti-theft device to be placed on the car radio. The device comprises a metal dish with a size slightly smaller than the car radio, the metal part forming the housing car radio and adapted to each model, maintained with a bolt and nut connected to a cable, chain, braid.

 Anti-theft device characterized in that the positioning of the fastening means is variable: it is adapted to the space available, can be positioned on the upper or lower part of the car radio on the left or right of it.

It consists either of an element (1) conforming to the shape of the unit (2) of the car radio, or of separate elements (8) forming a chassis held at their ends by two matted bolts (9).

 This car radio thus equipped is then connected by a cable (3) bolted (6) and nut (7) to the body.

 Anti-theft device for car radio characterized in that, in a variant, the metal box of the car radio has a monobloc assembly with lugs in which will be fixed, bolt, weld the fixing means on the body sheet being a cable, a chain, a braid, or a steel rod.

 Figure 1 shows a view in place on the metal box (2) of the radio as seen from behind, the lock (1) consisting of a flat iron (1) conforming to the shape of the metal box (2) of the liautoratio and maintained by the bolt (4) and nut (5) which simultaneously traps the cable (3) terminated by a fixing means of the same type bolt (6) and nut (7) fixed to the body.

 Figure 2 shows a side view of the device.

 Figure 3 shows a view in place on the housing (2) of the car radio of the 2nd model, two metal dishes (8) connected with 2-bolts (9) holding it firmly in place.

 Figure 4 shows a side view of the device.

BENEFITS
This anti-theft device, which is simple to make and inexpensive, with a certain efficiency, will guarantee owners of vehicles fitted with car radios a safety previously overlooked.

Anti-theft device for radio and amplifier, characterized in that it is constituted either by an element (1) conforming to the shape of the housing (2) of the radio, or by separate elements (8) forming a chassis held at their ends with two matted bolts (9).  This autoratio thus equipped then being connected by a cable (3) bolted (6) and nut (7) to the body.  2. Anti-theft device according to claim 1, characterized in that the connection means between the housing (2) of the car radio and the bodywork is provided either by a cable (3) or by a chain or by a metal braid, or by a steel rod to regulate the whole and ensure the inviolability of the car radio.  3. Anti-theft device, characterized in that in a variant, the metal housing of the car radio has a monobloc assembly with tab in which will be fixed, bolt or weld the fixing means on the body sheet being a cable, a chain, a braid, or a steel rod.
