Abstract

The invention relates to a hydraulic device for balancing the clamping plate (platen) of a press. The device is characterised in that it comprises a certain number of vertical cylinders 9, 10 securely attached to the said clamping plate (platen) 7 which are each capable of sliding on a fixed inner piston 11, 12 securely attached to a vertical column 1, 2 connecting the two abovementioned fixed parts 5, 6 of the press, sealing means being provided between each column and its associated movable cylinder, each cylinder 9, 10 communicating with at least one another cylinder 10, 9, preferably an opposing cylinder, via two pipes 13, 14 each connecting the upper volume V1, V3 inside one of the cylinders 9, 10 with the lower volume V2 V4 inside the other cylinder 10, 9, each pipe 13, 14 being connected via a pipe 15, 16 and a non-return valve 17 to a common source of incompressible pressurised fluid. Application, in particular, to vertical hydraulic (hydrostatic) presses.

Dispositif hydraulique d'équilibrage du plateau mobile, en particulier d'une presse hydraulique-verticale du type comportant deux parties fixes (5,6) superposées entre lesquelles se déplace verticalement un plateau (7), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un certain nombre de cylindres verticaux (9,10) solidaires dudit plateau (7), susceptibles de coulisser chacun sur un piston intérieur fixe (11,12) solidaire d'une colonne verticale (1,2) reliant les deux parties fixes susdites (5,6) de la presse, des moyens d'étanchéité étant prévus entre chaque colonne et son cylindre mobile associé, chaque cylindre (9,10) communiquant avec au moins un autre cylindre (10,9), de préférence opposé, par deux canalisations (13,14) reliant chacune le volume supérieur (V1,V3) interne à l'un des cylindres (9,10) au volume inférieur (V2,V4) interne à l'autre cylindre (10,9), chaque canalisation (13,14) étant reliée par une canalisation (15,16) et un clapet anti-retour (17) à une source commune de fluide sous pression incompressible. 1.
