Abstract

The invention relates to a pulley intended to support a cable or a rope and comprising a clevis 3 acting as support to its axis. The pulley of the invention is noteworthy in that the abovementioned clevis 3 is arranged relative to the pulley so as to receive the forces (arrows F and F') carried by the pulley, in the immediate vicinity of the said forces by placing, for example, rollers 2 on the fixed part of the pulley supported by the clevis 3. The free part 1 of the pulley is mounted freely on the rollers 2. Applications: pulleys with force concentration.
