Abstract
Above the upper edge of at least one door leaf is disposed a horizontal U-shaped profile open in the downward direction which can be moved vertically. This embodiment allows correct closing of the door. For a door with two leaves, one lock suffices for both leaves. The leaves are mounted in a pivoting manner by means of two door hinge pins. A pivoting lever 28 displaces the hinge pins in an arc of a circle, a rotary arm 31 ensuring the position of the plane 34 of the door leaves. An overload coupling is appropriately used so that the opening of the door is possible with a light pressure from the inside, even when there is a power failure. On the other hand, the lock ensures sufficient security against break-in. No great constructional modifications are necessary for the installation of this door given that there are no parts which are displaced laterally outside of the door frame.
