Abstract

Apparatus intended to gather tennis balls or other similar spherical objects from the ground. Picking-up is effected by capping the ball with flexible tongues 2 mounted in a "tulip" shape and which hold it by virtue of the elasticity of the tongues. The originality consists principally in the fact that the apparatus may be mounted rapidly on the racket whose edge is received in the notch 4 (removal is just as easy) and fastening is effected by bearing of the tongue 3 forming a spring, which tongue may form an integral part of the apparatus or have been attached thereto by any conventional means; 3 rests on the edge of the racket and on the strings. It is also possible to provide a mounting independent of the racket by means of a handle inserted in 1. This apparatus may serve for the gathering of other spherical objects, golf balls for example, by modifying the dimensions. The mounting is then effected on a handle.

Description
