Abstract

This package is of the type composed of at least one prismatic sachet 6 whose upper part is folded in order to form, along the top of the packet, two lateral tongues 7a, 7b, connected by a transverse bar 8. According to the invention, at least one of the tongues 7a of the upper closing folding is folded back against the vertical contiguous face 9, to which it is connected by adhesive 10 or by other means, in such a way as to constitute a spout after raising and cutting. Such a package may be used for any product in granular or powder form composed of one or two sachets disposed one inside the other.

 In general, consumable products, in bean or powder, and in particular coffee in bean or ground are conditioned in prismatic packaging whose upper part is closed by a folding delimiting two lateral tabs connected by a transverse bar * Taditionnementt these two tabs are folded over the top of the package and are covered with a label.

 Usage shows that opening such a packaging is difficult because the user must first remove the closure label, lift the bar and a tab, then tear it.

When the sachet contains an airtight inner sachet, it is also necessary to tear off this inner sachet.

 The operation requires many awkward manipulations and leads to the creation of a large opening requiring, to preserve the aroma of the coffee, to be transferred to an airtight container.

 The present invention aims to provide a packaging which overcomes these drawbacks and eliminates any transfer of coffee.

 To this end, at least one of the tongues (7a) of the upper closure folding is folded against the contiguous vertical face (9), to which it is bonded by gluing (10), or the like, so as to constitute a spout. after recovery and sectioning.

 Thus, by simple folding, the package has, in its upper part, a corner which, after sectioning, can constitute a pouring spout. This sectioning limits the opening in the package. and keeps the aroma of the content.

 In the case of the application of the invention to a package consisting of an outer decorative bag containing an inner sealed bag with two upper lateral tabs, at least one of the upper tabs of the inner bag is folded outwards. laughing so as to enter the tongue of the outer bag which is then folded against the package.

 Crace to this arrangement the sectioning of the external lateral tab makes it possible at the same time to ensure the sectioning of the tab of the inner bag and eliminates any awkward manipulation.

 The invention will in any case be better understood with the aid of the description which follows with reference to the appended diagrammatic drawing representing, by way of nonlimiting example, an embodiment of this packaging in the case of its application to a coffee package consisting of an inner sachet and an outer sachet.

 In FIG. 1, (2) denotes a prismatic sachet containing, for example, ground coffee. After filling and placing a stiffening carton (3), the upper part of this bag is closed by a folding forming two lateral tabs (4a) and (4b) connected by a transverse bar (5). The tongue (4b) is folded over the top of the package as shown in Figure 2 while the tongue (4a) is left in the vertical extension of the contiguous side face.

 This sachet is then brought to another station associating it with an external sachet (6) ensuring the decoration of the packaging. The inner sachet (2) can be placed in the sachet (6) or conversely the sachet (6) can be formed around the sachet (2) without this changing the sequence of operations, provided that before closing the outer sachet (6 ) the tab (4a) of the outer bag (2) is vertical as shown in Figure 3.

 The outer bag (6) is then closed by a folding delimiting two lateral tabs respectively (7a) and (7b) connected by a transverse bar (8). It should be noted that the tongue (7a) is formed around the tongue (4a).

 In the next phase, shown in Figure 5, the bar (8) is folded over the top of the package, as the tongue (7b), while the tongue (7a) is folded outside the package so as to project from the underlying lateral face (9) previously provided with a point of glue (101. To complete the manufacturing of the packaging, it suffices to fold the tongue (7a) against the face (9), as shown in FIG. 10 and to hide the folding with a decorative and identification label (12), a label affixed to the top of the package as shown in FIG. 7.

 To access the contents of the packaging, as shown in FIG. 8, it suffices to raise the tongue (7a) so that it projects from the face (9) and then to cut this tongue.

 This sectioning, which affects both the outer bag (6) and the inner bag (2), makes it possible to produce an opening (13) visible in FIG. 9 in the upper part of the package, an opening whose edges constitute spout.

 It is obvious that the pouring spout can be produced on both sides of the package although its production on one side seems sufficient.

 It appears from the above that the transformation of the traditional package into a package with pouring spout does not require large modifications of the packaging chain and can therefore be carried out very quickly without increasing the cost of packaging.

 Such packaging can be used for any grain or powder product consisting of one or two sachets arranged one inside the other.

Claims (3)

1 - pouring packaging for consumable products, in grains or powders, of the type composed of at least one prismatic sachet (6) the upper part of which is folded so as to form, on the top of the package, two tongues (7a) (7b ) lateral connected by a transverse bar (8! characterized in that at least one of the tabs (7a) of the upper closure folding is folded against the contiguous vertical face (9), to which it is bonded by bonding (10 ), or other, so as to constitute a spout after raising and cutting. 2 - Packaging according to claim 1 characterized in that in. . the case of its application to a package composed of an exterior decorative sachet (6) containing an interior hermetic sachet (2) with two upper lateral tabs (4a 4b), at least one (4a) of the upper tabs of the inner sachet (2) is folded outwards so as to penetrate into the tongue (7a) of the outer bag (6) which is then folded against the package. 3 - A method of manufacturing the packaging according to claim 2 characterized in that it consists, after filling and closing  of the inner bag (2), closure forming above the package two tabs (4a 4b) connected by a bar (5), to bring these tabs (4a 4b) in the extension of the side faces of the bag, after formation of the outer bag ( 6) around the inner bag (2) and closure of this bag (6), closing leading to the formation of two tabs (7a 7b) connected by a bar (8) to be folded over the top of the package 1 'one of the tabs ( 7b) of the outer bag (6) and to be folded against the contiguous lateral face (9) having previously received a point of glue (10), the other tab (7a) of this outer bag (6) by causing in this movement the tab (4a) of the inner bag (2).
