Abstract

Device for uterine catheterisation with the aim of carrying out hysterography and insufflation of the uterine tubes. The invention relates to a device allowing injection, without pain and without reflux, of a radiopaque liquid of antibiotics or alternatively any other liquid under pressure, inside the cavity of the uterus. It is constituted by a tube 5 having an upper orifice 8, a lower orifice 7, it is 45 cm in length. An inflatable balloon 2 is disposed 0.5 cm from its upper orifice. This balloon 2 is 2.5 cm in size. It is made of an elastic rubber or alternatively any other appropriate material. At 1.5 cm from the end of this balloon is glued a collar made of plastic or any other rigid or semi-rigid material. This collar is at least 2.5 cm in diameter, and at least 0.5 cm in depth. At the lower end of the device is the inlet of the device and the inflation valve.
