Abstract

Tube-like device for the conditioning of semi-liquid honey. The invention relates to a process for presenting semi-liquid honey in the form of tubes which are readily transportable and enabling to consume the honey without any risk of waste or injuries. It is comprised of an aluminium-plastic tube (1) having a mouthpiece (2) with a large orifice (3) formed of two parts: a first part outside the tube and of conical shape and a second inner part in continuity with the first part and of cylindrical shape. The second inner part is provided with identical fins (4) longitudinally arranged in parallel, pierced (6) throughout the bodies thereof at regular intervals (5) and joined at the ends thereof by a tiny attachment (7). Said fins restrain the honey from crystallizing. The outer and inner parts of the mouthpiece are made of transparent plastic material. The device according to the invention is particularly intended to the practical and economical consumption of honey.

Description

 The present invention relates to the presentation in the form of semi-liquid honey tubes, from any source.

 Honey is traditionally put in glass jars, in cardboard wrapped in wax or in rigid plastic; which makes its producer, distributor and consumer several disadvantages with great losses.

 1) At the individual level: the presentation in jars makes its use difficult and impractical (the honey served with a spoon drips everywhere with in addition losses). There is thus a strong decrease in the consumption of this healthy natural food product and nutritious especially for the child.

When traveling, the jars may break, so the honey is hardly carried away due to this form of presentation.

2) At the distribution level: large losses are noted during transport, due to broken pots.

3) At the level of large surfaces: during handling when choosing the product or brands. Sometimes certain consumers are led to open certain cardboard jars in order to check the color and consistency of honey with the risk of non-asepsis and product pollution , not counting the fall and breakage of the pots.

 4) Opening a jar that is sometimes difficult to open can cause injury.

5) Cosmetic use is more difficult.

 6) There is less conservation and faster denaturalization of the honey in the jars because of the contact with the humidity which is greater.

 The presentation of the product in the form of tubes of different capacities and shapes overcomes these drawbacks.

 It indeed has two types of flexible tubes containing semi-liquid honey and designed in such a way that they can show the color and consistency of the product, allow easy flow and retain crystallization. The first tube made of mixed alloy aluminum and plastic (+ internal plastic), has a tip comprising two parts: one, conical in shape, outside the tube and another, inside continuous with the first having a cylindrical shape made of identical tongues longitudinally glazed in parallel and joined at their ends by a very fine tie and the breaking of which is easy by simple pressure.

The internal part of the nozzle being easily introduced into the tube thanks to the small attachments it is only once the nozzle screwed to the tube that the opening and the release of the tabs inside the tube can be made and this not necessarily in a manual or automatic way by simple pressure due to a special rod, introduced by the base of the tube so as to spread the tabs until their release.This rod of conical shape at its end, to facilitate the maneuver , sinks from the base of the tube and allows the tabs to be able to open like the petals of a flower inside the tube. The outside and inside parts of the mouthpiece are made of transparent-neutral plastic to the middle. The flexible tongues will have two primary roles: 1) Retain crystallization.

2) During the pressure of the consumer on the tube to release the honey, the rods being flexible will not oppose any resistance to the pressure of the subject who can thus go as far as emptying almost the entire tube without large losses of the product.

According to a preferred embodiment, the end piece may comprise two or four tabs of greater width depending on the capacity of the tube, arranged parallel one opposite the other.
According to a variant-the tube is made of transparent plastic with common tip and has inside a plastic toy which does not alter the honey (bee.

flower, etc.) retained at the end of the internal orifice at more than 2 centimeters and which replaces the role of the tongues. This same type of tube can also include a tab end.

 Figure 1 shows in section, a tip according to the invention.

 Figure 2 shows in section, the preferred variant of this tip.

 The presentation of the product represented in FIG. 1 comprises a tube (1) with conical tip (2) of 3 or 4 centimeters in length comprising an orifice (3) varying from 6 millimeters to 1 centimeters in diameter. The tongues (4) forming the cylindrical part with a length of 2 to 3.5 centimeters, a width and a thickness approximately equal to 3 and 2 millimeters depending on the capacity of the tube, are pierced all along their body, at regular intervals (5i of 1 millimeter about small windows (6) of to Cb near l millimeter of co-.

A very fine tie (7) holds them together; the tongues being necessary to retain a crystallization which will be done by the honey retained longer in the large tubes.

 In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the end piece here has two tongues (4) of width greater than 3 and 4 millimeters, of thickness equal to the first (approximately 2 millimeters) and also proportionally pierced with windows. (6).

 The process according to the invention is particularly intended for the practical and economical consumption of honey.

Claims (7)

1) Device for the presentation of semi-liquid honey from any source,  characterized in that it is in the form of a flexible tube (1) of differ  capacity and form annuity, having a tip (2) optionally provided with  tongues (4) or toy, in the case of crystallizing honey. 2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the end piece (2)  extends inside the tube by a cylindrical part composed of at least  minus two tabs (4) and of variable size according to the capacity of the  tube, longitudinally arranged and possibly perforated (6) all  along their body at regular intervals (5) and / or joined to their  extremities by a very fine fastener (7). 3) Device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterized in that  that the end piece (2) with tabs (4) is made of transparent plastic or  not of long and conical shape in its external part. 4) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the toy is in  medium neutral plastic 5) Device according to claims 1,2, and 3 characterized in that the tube  is made of aluminum alloy and plastic or plastic only and has a tip (2), - and -and optionally provided with  tabs (4). 6) Device according to claims 1,2,3,4 and 5 characterized in that the tube  made of transparent or non-transparent plastic, has a standard end cap  optionally with a toy or tab tip depending on the nature of the honey  and its ability to crystallize. 7) Device according to the preceding claims, characterized in that  the orifice (3) is sufficiently wide for the flow of honey in function  the capacity of the tube.
