Abstract

Stud used to support paving stones, characterised in that it comprises: - a base 1 (or bottom or plate) forming a surface for bearing on the ground and comprising in its central part a well 3 of generally circular cross-section but whose internal surface has no thread; - a head, itself constituted on the one hand by an upper part forming a cap 12 and a part forming a screw 11 and because of this comprising a thread 13 over a certain height, the said cap and the said part forming a screw fitting into one another in such a way that they have no relative movements with respect to each other when the stud is in use; - and by an intermediate part 5 constituted by a skirt 6 provided with a rim 8 dimensioned such that it rests on the upper surface of the well of the base, the internal part of the said skirt being threaded 7 such that it receives the threaded part of the said screw.
