Abstract

The invention relates to a device which permanently holds a rocking chair on an undercarriage, which permits easy movement of the seat and guarantees a perfect and constant rocking quality regardless of the nature of the floor or of its covering. Four strands of steel string, two for each side, connect the fixed points 4 to the adjustable tension points 5, passing over the undercarriage and under the corresponding castor socket (shoe) 5.
