Abstract

Bathroom installations. Orientable soap holder on a small column 8 fixed to a wall, particularly of a shower, characterised in that it comprises two parts 2-5, one of which is integral with the body 1 of the soap holder and the other of which constitutes a separable complementary part, these two parts 2-5 having semi-cylindrical support surfaces 3-6 intended to clasp the said small column 8, and coupling means 4-9-11-12-13 arranged so as to enable them to be assembled while moving them in a direction parallel to the said small column 8.

Description

 The present invention relates to a swivel soap holder on a support in the form of a column fixed to a wall and in particular for a shower installation.

 The prior art knows ori entable soap holders mounted on a small column fixed to a wall, the said soap holder having a ring engaged on said small column.

 For mounting on the baluster, it is necessary to disassemble it from the shower or the shower enclosure.

 One of the aims of the present invention is to provide a soap holder intended to be mounted on a baluster and which can be placed thereon without having to dismantle it and without the need for fixing means or tools.

 The soap holder according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises two parts, one of which is integral with the body of the soap holder and the other constitutes a separable complementary part, these two parts having semi-cylindrical bearing surfaces intended to enclose said Gold collar; net and coupling means arranged to allow them to be assembled by moving them in a direction parallel to said column.

The soap dish shown in the figures includes a
body affecting the shape of a small basin 1, bearing the

It is planned to cooperate with part 2, a
stirrup 5 having a semi-cylindrical bearing surface 6
to complete the support surface 3, and form a sheath
of section corresponding to the section of a baluster 7, -fixed in known manner to a wall, and intended to support
ter the soap dish 1.

The stirrup 5 has, in its internal surface, to the
sinage of the semi-cylindrical part 6, two grooves 9,
one on each side, and intended to receive the studs 4.

 The ends of the grooves 9 are closed by stops 10.

The bracket 5 has, on its front face, a tab
elastic, terminated at its free end by a tooth
12 intended to cooperate with an opening 13 made on
the upper edge of the body of the basin 1, or possibly
of the part of the fastener 2.

The elastic tab 11 is produced by a slot 14
made in the corresponding face of the stirrup 5 and per
puts to lock the two assembled parts.

 To mount the soap dish to the. column 8, that c being fixed to a wall by the bars 8 ′ the attachment part 2 secured to the body 1 and the stirrup 5 Are arranged on either side of the column 8 (see FIG. 2) and are brought together one from the other in a direction parallel to said column, so that the pins 4 are inserted in the r-a7nures 9. During this sliding, the elastic tongue 11 with 13 tooth 12 are erased for, when the pins abut against the ends 10, come to be housed in the opening 13, and thus lock the assembly (see FIG. 4).

 Thus, the soap holder is easily mounted on the lens 8, it is adjustable and it can be assembled or disassembled without using tools, and without having to disassemble the column 8 from the wall.

 Of course, modifications can be made to the subject of the invention, in particular for the coupling means, without going beyond the ambit of said invention.

 In addition, we developed a soap holder, but of course, the invention applies to similar objects such as towel holders etc ...

Claims (4)

R E V E N D I C A T I O N S  1 "- Soap holder swiveling on a baluster (8) fixed to a wall, in particular of a shower characterized in that it comprises two parts (2-5) one of which is fixed to the body (1 ) of the soap dish, and the other constitutes a separable complementary part, these two parts (2-5) having semi-cylindrical bearing surfaces (3-6) intended to enclose said baluster (8) and coupling means (4-9-11-12-13) arranged so as to allow them to be assembled by moving them in a direction parallel to said baluster (8).  2 "- Soap holder according to claim 1, characterized in that the body (1) has an attachment part (2) with a semi-cylindrical bearing surface (3), and laterally two studs (4 ) arranged one, on one side of said bearing surface, the other on the other, while the other part is constituted by a stirrup t) having a semi-cylindrical bearing surface (6i complementary , said bracket (5) comprising - grooves (9) intended to receive the pins (4).  3 - soap holder, according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the bracket (5) comprises at least, u a flexible tab (11) for locking, with a stop tooth (12) intended- to cooperate with an opening (13) of the body (1).  4 - Soap dish, according to claims 1, 2 and 3, characterized in that one of the ends of the grooves (9) is closed by a stop (1-0) to limit the engagement of the pins (4).
