Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to b @ bones intended for dental hygiene.
In known devices, the bristles of toothbrushes are constituted by son of synthetic material or by po from animal fleeces.
Whatever their length, shape, epdissetJr or number on the toothbrush, their user is even able to see that it will be very difficult for them to start what we eat with dental plaque. The latter consists of a fairly hard limestone aqglomerate which facilitates bacterial implantations. This dental plaque is also favorable for the fixation of the products contained in tobacco smoke, which has the effect of blackening 1 smoker's teeth, in particular at their base and on the internal face. In addition, the passage of the tongue over these scaled parts of the teeth causes an unpleasant sensation.
Different toothpastes are offered to consumers
Whatever their respective merits, none of these can effectively remove dental plaque in a relatively short time of use. Even the combined efforts of a toothbrush with the hardest bristles currently known of an excellent toothpaste can not give a completely satisfactory result in the fight against dental plaque. People who have it have three alternatives :
Either they continue to hope that intensive brushing will come to an end, or they make an appointment with their surgeon <sad to undergo dental scaling which is not always without drawbacks, or they, they resign to bear their life during scaled and unsightly dentition.
The toothbrush according to the invention eliminates these disadvantages @
It is enough to incorporate into the structure forming the bristles of a toothbrush of known design, a fine diamond dust. The bristle of the toothbrush according to the invention has hard microscopic roughness on its surface which does not detract from its flexibility. In contact with the surface of the teeth, these microscopic qualities will act as an abrasive. The natural enamel covering the teeth having a coefficient of hardness infinitely greater than that of the dental plaque, the latter will be attacked first, without effort by the bristles of the toothbrush according to the invention.
The di @ mant, absolutely p @@@ carbon crystal. does not present any toxic character for the body hum @ in. Its action in the toothbrush according to the invention is therefore limited to a mechanical role.
It goes without saying that the toothbrush according to the invention is a dental hygiene tool intended to erase dental plaque. When this has disappeared, the user of the brush according to the invention will have to resort to the use of an ordinary toothbrush for his daily care.
Finally, the toothbrush according to the invention allows its user less effort and a shorter brushing duration than if he used an ordinary toothbrush and with highly satisfactory results.
According to a first variant, the diamond dust is embedded in the entire mass of the material constituting the bristles of the toothbrush according to the invention over their entire length.
According to a second variant, the diamond dust is embedded in the entire mass of the material constituting the bristles of the toothbrush according to the invention over a fraction of their length.
According to a third variant, the diamond dust is agglomerated on the total surface of the material constituting the bristles of the toothbrush according to the invention over their entire length.
According to a fourth variant, the diamond dust is agglomerated on the surface of the material constituting the bristles of the toothbrush according to the invention over a fraction of their length.
According to a fifth variant, diamond dust is added to a toothpaste or powder.
According to a sixth variant, the diamond dust used in the constitution of the toothbrush according to the invention is replaced by dust of other materials having the same abrasive properties as diamond and non-toxic to the human organism.
According to a seventh variant, the diamond dust used in the constitution of the bristle of the toothbrush according to the invention is located in the internal part of this bristle. The abrasive surface will thus always be located at the end of said pile.
