Abstract

The gap 3 between partitions or between wall 1 and inner wall 2 is filled with insulating material in the form of fragments 4 which have adjacent surfaces adhesively bonded together. The adhesive is applied to the fragments 4 while they are sprayed into the gap. One or more tubular elements 10 fed with pressurised liquid adhesive emerge into the nozzle 7 of the apparatus for spraying the fragments 4. The axes 14 of the outlets of the tubular elements 10 do not intersect and do not pass through the axis 15 of the nozzle 7.
