Le brevet 79.14564 publié sous le n 2.458.218 et intitulé "Procédés pour réduire les accidents causés à la faune sauvage par les traitements chimiques en Agriculture" revendique l'inclusion de produits répulsifs aux formulations phytosanitaires, en particulier sous forme de produits azotés. Patent 79.14564 published under No. 2,458,218 and entitled "Methods for Reducing Accidents Caused to Wild Fauna by Chemical Treatments in Agriculture" claims the inclusion of repellents in phytosanitary formulations, in particular in the form of nitrogenous products.
Poursuivant notre recherche sur les molécules azotées et connaissant l'effet du dégagement du gaz ammoniac sur les muqueuses des mammifères, nous avons trouvé que le traitement d'hiver de la vigne contre l'esca et l'escoriose peut s'effectuer avec une dose homologuée d'arsenite de sodium formulée avec une quantité convenable de certains sels ammoniacaux, à condition qu'ils soient solubles dans l'eau et y donnent une réaction basique. Cette quantité varie de 2,5 à 50 kg/ha pour assurer une protection contre les mammifères rongeurs. L'efficacité sur l'esca et l'escoriose n'a pas été différente de ce qui est normalement obtenu avec l'arsenite de soude. Les sels ammoniacaux ci-dessous, éventuellement stabilisés, peuvent être utilisés, mais cette liste ne prétend pas être exhaustive.
