Abstract

Globe for external lighting equipment noteworthy in that it is obtained by the assembly, with no visible joining line, of two approximately hemispherical parts 1 and 2 made by an injected plastic technique. The parts 1 and 2 have interlocking catch pieces provided within the thickness of the wall. Internally, each part has a series of seats 4 which open out at the joining plane 3 and are separated by tongues 5 which can pass freely into the corresponding seat in the other part, while means are provided in the seats and on the tongues for the interlocking of the parts 1 and 2 by their partial rotation in mutually opposite directions.
