Abstract

Lid has a downward rim flange internally provided with lips to grip below the rim of an external flange around the open top of the container. The invention is not limited to circular covers but it can also be applied to polygonal covers or covers having an oval or elliptical shape. In the case of polygonal covers, the lips can be arranged on the tops.

Claims (7)
