Abstract

The sweeper incorporates a lifter for dog litter from pavements or gravelled surfaces. It comprises a small brush (3) positioned just behind a scraper (1) which has a bevelled end (2) for clearing up the litter. A rotor (4) having rubber blades removes the litter from the scraper and directs it onto a grooved conveyor belt (6) which is inclined at 30 degrees and transports the litter to a plastics bag (7).
