Abstract

The insulating cover is for hot water tanks. It has a layer of insulating material (1) which has, on its outside, a cover sheet (2). The insulating material is rigid synthetic foam and the cover sheet is of rigid, synthetic material. Near its ends (3,3') the cover sheet is held on to the insulation by fixing pegs (5), driven into the foam and having a support head (4). One of the edges (3) of the cover sheet has perforations in it. The cover sheet has access holes for tying to the tank.
